Founded in 1961, Dr. John C. Black, Jr. provided friendly, high-quality dentistry to families in Willow Street and the surrounding Lancaster County area. Dr. John C. Black, III (Dr. John) joined the dental practice in 1989. Together, Dr. Black and Dr. John continued to offer exceptional patient care while integrating cutting-edge technology for our patients.
Dr. John is pleased to announce the addition of the third-generation family member to join the team at Black & Black Dental, Dr. Connor W. Black. Thank you to our many patients who have been with us since the beginning and are excited to meet Dr. Connor W. Black. For many years I have been a patient of Black & Black Dental, and have always been satisfied with my treatment. The office staff are pleasant and friendly, the equipment up to date, and Dr. John is always ready with a detailed explanation if there is any question about procedures.
Recently, he took time from his vacation, along with his chairside assistant, to open the office and see me after I had fallen and shattered two front tooth crowns. His immediate treatment saved the teeth. I couldn't have been more appreciative. He is a skilled, dedicated dentist who not only cares for my teeth, but cares about me as his patient.

I have been going to this practice since elementary school in the mid 70's & started with Dr. John's dad at the office on the Willow Street Pike. I am now in my mid 50's and have continued all this time with the same practice. Luckily it is mainly cleanings with my hygienist Vicki. She is the best (we have a common beach bond). Twice I have had old fillings replaced. Jeanine & Haley have done a great job alongside of Dr. John. I was recently seen with tooth pain & was given 4 options, each thoroughly explained by Dr. John. My parents have also been with this practice since the 70's. They are now both 85 & very happy with the care they have received throughout the years.
